Is your pet well behaved and easy to live with? Animals need an education, just like people. Attending class is much more beneficial to both you and your dog as opposed to private lessons or in house training. A class atmosphere creates real distractions with other people and dogs and teaches you how to get control and make your dog mind while overcoming these distractions. Positive reinforcement is used in the training. The dog learns basic commands (sit,down,stand,come,heel,stay) in the six week course. Advanced levels of training are offered after completing the six week basic class. At the end of six weeks, you and your dog will be on a better communication level. The dog will understand your words and live by your rules. You will notice the strong bond that dog training creates and the love and respect the dog has for their owner.

Teresa, your instructor, has been training and showing dogs professionally since 1978 with multiple obedience, breed, and Best in Show awards to her credits.

Recommended by local veterinarians, Classy K-9 uses positive motivation techinques in a interactive hands-on environment teaching you to teach your dog. A typical class session lasts 6 weeks. During that time you and your dog will attend a 1 hour class each week where you will learn new and exciting exercises building a strong foundation of trust and partnership.
